Can someone answer me this question? Why does Obama refer to himself as either ‘black’ or ‘African American’ when he is clearly bi-racial. His mother is white, his father is black and yet he refers to himself as black. It is very troublesome and confusing to me that he does not identify himself truthfully. If he can’t be honest about his true racial identity, what else is he being half-truthful about? I think he is, God forbid, pandering mainly for the black vote and he’s merely trying to be the FIRST black President… a history making event…and really that’s all he’s concerned about… being the first black President. What real qualifications does he have? How can he have any real, concrete qualifications/experience when all he’s been doing for the past many years is campaigning to be the first black President? How can he be the first black president when he is bi-racial? I know the news media won’t touch this question with a ten foot pole because they will consider this question politically incorrect, but for me it’s a valid question.
